Hands-On Portion BLS:
Skills Sessions for In-Person Practice and Testing
For American Heart Association courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR, students must complete an in-person skills practice and testing session to obtain an AHA course completion card.
With AHA Blended Learning, the skills practice and skills test are taken together during a Hands-on Skills Session after the student completes the eLearning portion online.

EMR Hybrid Course
MN Board Peace Officer Post approved. CE’s are obtained with classroom attendance.
EMR Lab: Saturdays 3 sessions (1/2, 3/4, 5/6) with Psychomotor exam & Online work
9:00-5:00 PM
Dates: 2023-24 Lab sessions and Psychomotor exam
Sept. 30th, Oct. 7th, 14th-Exam
Nov. 4th, 18th, Dec. 2nd-Exam
Jan. 6th, 20th, 27th-Exam
Feb. 3rd, 10th, 24th-Exam
Bring each Lab session:
- AHA BLS CPR included in the class
- The folder is given on the first day
- Watch with a secondhand
- Last day a Laptop to register with EMSRB
These are Lab and testing sessions only, all coursework is online. You are able to go to different lab sessions as long as you complete 1-6.

Adult and Child Hands-only skills
Some days have varying times.
Skills include Choking, CPR, use of CPR masks, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training.
Receive 2-year course completion.

June 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th-Exam for EMR; Bridge starts 20th, 24th, 27th, July 1st, (OFF the 4th), 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th- Exam.
